In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the TV anime "Card Captor Sakura" on April 7, the launch of a project to celebrate the 25th anniversary was announced. The project will include the sale of goods and collaboration rooms. The original manga "Card Captor Sakura" by the creative group CLAMP was serialized in the June 1996 to August 2000 issues of the girls' manga magazine "Nakayoshi" and the TV anime version started on NHK on April 7, 1998. In 2004, the 20th anniversary of the serialization, a new chapter, "Card Captor Sakura: Clear Card Arc," began serialization, and the same work was adapted into an anime in 2006. The total number of copies of related books has exceeded 19 million. Sales of related goods have reached 30 billion yen, and the "Card Captor Sakura" anime series boasts deep-rooted popularity from the time of its broadcast to the present. In this project celebrating the 25th anniversary of the series, goods, cafes, and events using illustrations and motifs from the "Crow Card Arc" to the "Clear Card Arc" will be sequentially developed. The "Sanrio Collaboration Capsule Toy Vol. 2" and "Card Captor Sakura 25th Anniversary ver. Lunch Series Vol. 5" have been announced as the goods to be released. The "Sanrio Collaboration Capsule Toy Vol. 2" (left image) is a 4 cm mini figure created in collaboration with Sanrio Characters, and will be available at capsule vending machines nationwide from June. Scheduled to go on sale around summer. In addition, "Card Captor Sakura: Clear Card Arc" collaboration rooms are being offered at EJ Anime Hotel and other locations until June 30.
