Describing the thoughts of a high school student and a ramen store in Corona disaster

Ramen drama "Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san Ni Daime! 2022 New Year SP" (2:45-3:55 p.m., Fuji Television Network) on January 8, 2022.

This work is set in the Corona disaster from the spring of 2020 to the present. In the midst of this unprecedented disaster, high school students are forced to endure the cancellation of school trips and school festivals in order to enjoy their youth. The story depicts the joy of being able to eat delicious ramen in a pop comical way.

In this "ramen terror drama" as opposed to a "rice terror drama", there are scenes of powerful gun action and sword fighting by Koizumi, Misa Nakamura and Jun Takahashi.

Sakurada plays the role of Koizumi-san, the protagonist who eats ramen in ecstasy while passionately talking about popular ramen stores.

Aimi Igashira plays Yuu Osawa, a classmate of Mr. Koizumi's who loves and pursues his girlfriend, Ririka Tanabe plays Misa Nakamura, the self-proclaimed "most beautiful girl in school" with twin-tails as her trademark, and Ayaka Imoto plays Jun Takahashi, the serious chairperson of the class who organizes the unique members.

In addition, Rio Komiya plays the role of Hayato, the key person in this work. Hayato is a young man who aspires to be a musician and performs live on the street every day. One day, Hayato asks Misa, who often comes to listen to his live performances, to go out with him, and the unexpected romantic comedy begins.

Producer Hirofumi Akaike (Fuji Television Production Department 2) comments
Although "Mr. Koizumi the Second" made a new start with the previous work, the unprecedented situation of Corona made the production of the drama extremely difficult, and nearly two years passed before we realized it.

However, during that time, the ramen store did not let the fear of the unknown Corona stop it from continuing to operate, taking every possible measure with all its wisdom.

Many ramen fans have also taken every possible measure to support their stores and continue to eat ramen. Mr. Koizumi is one of them.

This time, we have made a drama about the trajectory of the ramen stores and Mr. Koizumi and his friends who continued to fight against corona. Ramen will not be defeated!
