Pokémon GO’s 5th Anniversary “All-Sky Perspective” Illustrations to Appear at Five Stations and Seven Locations!

An advertising campaign commemorating the 5th anniversary of "Pokémon GO," the iOS/Android application distributed by Niantic, Inc. and Pokémon, will be launched on December 27th in Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, and seven other stations nationwide.

With "360° Playground" as its visual concept, the ad will feature five different "fulldome perspective" images created by five artists: Haru Akasaka, Inio Asano, Sushio, Tao, and Kuanzaka Tanaka, in honor of the fifth anniversary of "Pokémon GO". In honor of the fifth anniversary of the game, five different illustrations of the "all sky perspective" will be displayed

 The "All-Sky Perspective," which depicts a 360-degree view, expresses the excitement of "Pokémon GO," in which the entire earth is a stage for adventure.

 Pikachu will also appear from time to time on digital signage in Shinjuku, Osaka (Umeda), and Fukuoka (Tenjin).

 In addition, on Saturday, January 1, 2022, illustrations by TAO (Hokkaido), SUSHIO (Tokyo), Hirotaka Tanaka (Hokuriku and Chubu), Inio Asano (Osaka), and Haru Akasaka (Western Japan) will cover the full-page spread in the morning editions of Yomiuri Shimbun.
