Set in the "Shirokuma Cafe," where the cool polar bear is the master, the story depicts the slow life of the regulars, including the polar bear, the fast-paced panda, and the nosy penguin, with puns and warmth. In the first episode, "Welcome to Shirokuma Cafe / Panda-kun's Job Search," Panda-kun, who has been lounging around at home, goes to town to look for a part-time job at his mother's request. Eventually, Panda-kun is recommended by Penguin, a regular at the Shirokuma Cafe, to work at the zoo. The job was to work as a "panda" two days a week. On his first day, however, Panda runs into a difficult problem. The café's master, Shirokuma-kun, is played by Sakurai Takahiro, known for his roles as Matsuno Osomatsu in "Osomatsu-san" and Tomioka Yoshiyuu in "Oni no Kane". The role of Panda-kun, a regular customer of the cafe, will be played by Jun Fukuyama, who plays Lelouch in "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion," and Hiroshi Kamiya, who plays Takashi Natsume in "Natsume's Book of Friends" and Levi in "Shinkage no Kyojin" will play Penguin, another regular customer.
