
In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the broadcast of the TV animation "Pokemon," a theater screening project "Summer Memories, Let's Get 'Em! 25th Anniversary Pokemon Movie Festival" will be held. The period is from August 11 to September 8. The films to be screened at the theaters will be decided by fans' votes.
The "Pokemon" TV animation series began in 1997. The adventures of Satoshi and Pikachu are still continuing 25 years later. To commemorate their adventures, a theatrical screening project of the past Pokemon movies will be held.
The voting period for this first-ever project is from today, June 17 to 23:59 on July 1. The three films with the most votes will be screened. Voting can be done through the voting form on the official Pokémon Movie website (https://www.pokemon-movie.jp/filmfes ).
Voting will be open to the 23 films from the first film "Pokémon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back" to the 23rd film "Pokémon Coco the Movie" ("Pokémon the Movie: VICTINI and the Black Hero Zekrom" and "Pokémon the Movie: VICTINI and the White Hero Reshiram" are the only films that will receive votes. Hero Reshiram" will each receive a vote).
