Mikhail is a boy who possesses another grimoire, the Book of Vanitas. He was experimented on in Dr. Morrow's laboratory, and called Vanitas "Onii-chan", which means "big brother" in Japanese. After that, he was taken out together with Vanitas by Sougetsu's vampires, and they were working together.
