Twin Engine's first original TV anime "Butch Gire! will be broadcast from July, and the main staff, teaser visual, and teaser PV have been released.

The main staff is directed by Tetsuo Hirakawa, with Hiroyuki Takei of "Shaman King" fame as the character designer, and animation production by Geno Studio, which has worked on "Golden Kamui" and other works. Also announced are character designer Masashi Yokota, art director Sachiko Nishiguchi, cinematographer Nozomi Shitara (T2studio), 3DCG director Osamu Akimoto (T2studio), sound director Satoshi Yano, and music by Koji Takanashi.


The story takes place in an era when samurai ruled Japan. Someone wipes out the Shinsengumi, leaving only one member, and seven criminals are chosen as doubles for the Shinsengumi. The film depicts the struggles of these criminals who are forced to bear the burden of "sincerity" through a top-secret double agent operation to protect the public order in Kyoto.


The teaser visual, drawn by Takei, the original character designer, features a powerful design with distinctive colors and the characters' demonic expressions.

Butch Gilet! is scheduled to begin airing in July and will be available on Amazon Prime Video and Hikari TV on the same day as the TV broadcast.
