The second season of the TV anime "Hataraku Maou-sama! TV anime "Hataraku Maou-sama!" will be broadcasted from July 2022, a new key visual, PV, main staff and additional casts were announced.

This work is a fantasy for the common people that depicts Satan, the demon king who was defeated by the heroes and came to Tokyo from another world, living in an apartment of six tatami mats. The staff for the second season, eight years after the first season, includes Daisuke Tsukushi as director, Masahiro Yokoya as series composition, Yudai Iino as character designer, Kinhiro Takeda as chief animation director, Hitoshi Akedagawa as sound director, and Studio 3Hz as animation production.

As already announced, Ryota Osaka (Sadao Maoku, the Demon King Satan), Yoko Hikasa (Emilia, the Brave, Emi Yusa), and Nao Higashiyama (Chiho Sasaki) will continue to be cast from the first season. Recently, it was revealed that Hina Kino will be playing the role of Aras Ramus, a new character that will appear in the second season, and a PV introducing the character was released.
The new PV features narration by the original author, Soji Wagahara, as well as newly recorded character voices by Aisaka, Hikasa, and Higashiyama. It also includes many new cuts.

Hataraku Maou-sama! The new information was announced in the program "Dengeki Bunko Winter Festival Online 2021" that was distributed on December 11 and 12. In the program, Aisaka, Hikasa, and Kino appeared and talked about episodes from the recording of the new PV and the audition for the role of Aras Ramus.
