(C)2022 "ZANNENNAIKIMONO JITEN" FILM PARTNERS (C)TAKAHASHI SHOTEN The cast, poster visual, and trailer for "Zannenai Inki Mono Jiten the Movie," an animated feature film adaptation of the children's book series that has sold more than 4.55 million copies, have been announced. Actor Muro Tsuyoshi and actress Ito Sari will play the roles of the navigator of the film, a father and son mole, and Hanae Natsuki, Uchida Marei, and Shimono Hiro will also appear in the film. The "Dictionary of Zanenai Kimono" is a children's book series that introduces "unexpected aspects" of living creatures. This film version of the series features three original stories set in Antarctica, Australia, and Japan (Azumino, Nagano Prefecture), three places where many "Zanenai-kimono" live. The main cast features Muro as Mogmog, the father of a family of moles, and Ito as Gurara, the firm daughter. Muro said, "Please come and see the movie with everyone. I'll be waiting for you as the father of the mole parent and child. His daughter, Sari Ito, is also cute. Ito, on the other hand, said, "To tell you the truth, it was the first time I read 'Zannenai Kimono Jiten (Dictionary of Zannen Wildlife)' when I got this offer. I learned many aspects of the creatures that I did not know, and I loved their 'zan-nenai kikimono jiten'. Hanae will play the role of Leroy the koala in the Australian version, Uchida will play Usao in the Japanese version, and Shimono will play Usazaki Senpai. In this trailer, the mole father and son introduce the animals in the three stories. The poster visual also depicts the unique animals with the catchphrase, "Zazak, zanne~n.
